Ebike Tweed Valley Guiding

We’re happy to set up guiding days for those coming to the area looking for battery assisted bike fun. To get the most out of the day, You’ll either want to have two batteries, or an extended lunch break with time for a quick charge. Shortcuts and otherwise impossible climbs are the order of the day. We aim to keep the motor turning and get as many trails ticked off the hit list as possible!

The Golfie

Looking to step up and taste the wild trails of the Golfy? First time visitor needing a bit of direction as to what’s what and where’s where? Looking to maximise your time on the hill and ride the best trails on offer? All of this and more is possible, we can set the day up to make sure you get the best game of Golf possible!

Glentress Guiding

If you’re heading to Glentress for the first time and want the hassle taken out of getting around the forest, we can guide you on a route to suit you or your group, from ticking off the waymarked loops through to exploring the wild trails and getting off the beaten track.

Tweed Valley Outliers

There’s more to Tweed Valley than Glentress and Golfy. We can set you up for a day taking in the smaller forests such as Cademuir or Thornielee, or look at guiding you on an old school journey round the area, getting into the backcountry and riding old Drove Roads, walkers paths, and other esoteric little gems that are hidden around the area.

Uplift Guiding Innerleithen

The sheer number of trails crossing the hill at Traquair Forest, where Adrenalin Uplift operate, can mean you spend half your day just figuring out what’s good and what’s not. Let us take the stress of trail choice out of the day, and make sure you get as many runs as possible without getting lost in the maze of Inners Face!

  • Meet at 9am at the No 1 Cafe Innerleithen to fuel up and meet your guide.
  • A quick bike check to make sure everything works as it should  and a chat about what trails are currently riding well and how ambitious you and the group are feeling.
  • Head over to the Golfie and start taking on the climb, this is the point you realise you shouldn’t have had that extra pint the night before.
  • After a few warm up runs and with every one happy, the trail difficulty steadily increases during the ride.
  • Head back to civilisation at 12.30 for a bite to eat and a stop at the hydration station. (Don’t eat too much, the best is yet to come!)
  •  Head over to a sweet trail at the Golfie which isn’t on trail forks yet or…
  • Step it up to another level and find that sweet techy section you’ve just seen on instagram.
  • Finish the afternoon whooping and hollering with a stop at the Traquire arms for a refreshing pint!

After a successful day you leave with one thing on your mind….. Can I get the time off work to get back for the Trail Hub long weekender?

*The above itinerary is an example only to give you an idea of the structure of the day. Your guide will take all factors into consideration such as weather, trail conditions and rider ability to deliver the best riding day possible.*
