Groups are made up of intermediate and above skill levels and MUST be comfortable on red graded tech trails.

The trails are predominantly technical rather than big jumps and gaps.

Before riding each trail your guide will give the group pointers of what’s coming up and what to look out for.

Riders need a moderate level of bike fitness to sustain 3 days of back to back riding in the Tweed Valley.

Climbs are generally long but taken at a conversational pace.

Naturally as riders get tired throughout the trip, your guide will adjust the trails to suit the group accordingly.

Trail conditions, rider preference, skills and energy levels will all be taken on board to provide the best tour possible for the group.

Rides vary each day with a focus on enduro style tech trails across different areas of the Tweed Valley.

The riding across Glentress, Innerleithen, the Golfie and Cade Muir is mainly technical and steep.

Each trip tends to start on the mellower side whilst riders find their flow, as the trip rolls on the difficulty ramps up to find the best trails for the group.

Riders need to manage their own battery levels, each day will vary approximately between 20 – 30 miles.

It’s advised that riders stick to eco/trail modes to preserve battery where possible. On day 3, when legs are tired, there will likely be some turbo laps to be had!

There will be around an hours lunch break each day which may allow time for riders to charge batteries depending on the stopping location each day. This can be discussed with your guide each morning.

Full details will be sent to you prior to arrival, however riders are to meet at the riders Retreat at 9am on the first morning of the tour.

From there you will be greeted by your Tweed Valley guide.

The meeting point each morning may vary depending on each particular group and where the guide thinks is the best place to begin.

You may need your own transport to get to these locations.

    The Riding

    The Golfie

The Golfie rewards big climbs with big descents. Home to dozens of world class hand built enduro trails that will keep you on your toes all day.

    Glentress

Glentress is a premiere Scottish trail centre located just outside of Peebles. Glentress offers way more than just a trail centre with plenty of old school off piste tech trails and single track on offer.

    Innerleithen

Home to the Adrenalin Uplift service and Innerleithen red trail centre loop, this area has 15km of purpose built DH trails + a sneaky amount of almost untouched hand built enduro loveliness ranging from mellow to insane!

    Tweed Valley Outliers

Located near Glentress in Cademuir, this lesser know network of trails is well worth a look! Couple up these trails with an XC loop of Gypsy Glen for an awesome Ebike ride in the Tweed Valley.
