I can't recommend Trail Hub enough for a mountain bike holiday! Everything was top-notch, from the airport transfers and accommodation to the food and the outstanding hospitality provided by Jamie and Ben. I participated in the Mega Avalanche as a first-timer, and Jamie's advice and guidance were absolutely invaluable. The larger group of riders from Trail Hub was also fantastic, as we had the opportunity to ride and socialize together before and during the event. Overall, I highly recommend Trail Hub for anyone looking for an unforgettable MTB experience.

First of all these guys are a 10/10 doing what they do. We had the best time with perfect rooms with full ensuite and a balcony which was perfect for a great view and putting out bikes on a night. Food wise it was exceptional from Ben who knocked it out the park every time. They will cater for any dietary needs you may have but help them out before you arrive and let them know which is what one of our party did and they went above and beyond to feed him with no issues. Breakfast was Continental with plenty of choice and enough to give you a good feed. Let the guys sort your stay head ache free they’re more than Happy to help you get on holiday. Cheers guys loved the full week See you for Mega 2026 🤟

A perfectly organised holiday from start to finish from TrailHub. Made for bikers by bikers so everything is thought of - wash and repair stations, early meals for race days, advice and organised group rides. My particular plant based diet needs were catered for and had my meat eater friends looking at my dinner in envy. I genuinely couldn’t ask more from a company. Perfection.

Trail hub are the best hosts I’ve came across. They look after you well and they’re down to earth. Ben and Jamie made our stay so much pleasant and comfortable. We went for silver package, location was awesome, with a view. Everything we needed for our mtbs on the sun deck. Last day they’ve organised bbq for gold and silver package together. Which was awesome ! They cook really good and have no issue with dietary restrictions. Thanks Jamie & Ben I hope to see you guys in near future 🫡🫶🏻

Jamie has been the absolute best!! He helped us months before we even arrived to the chalet. He helped us figure out the logistics of our bikes and arranged someone to accept them while we toured Italy before arriving to France. I would 1 million percent recommend Jamie and MTB Trail Hub for every trip in your future!!!!

In July 2024 me and my group from Malaysia had the pleasure of joining on Megavalanche mountain biking race at Alpe D’Huez with Trail Hub, and it was an absolutely amazing experience! From the start, Jamie was incredibly friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. He took the time to make sure everyone was comfortable with well taking care us and provided helpful tips throughout the ride. The trails were stunning, with breathtaking views and varying levels of difficulty that kept things exciting. I highly recommend this holiday package for anyone looking for an adventure. I can’t wait to go back.... see you in 2026 Jamie !! you're great !!

It’s advised riders are at a strong intermediate & above skill level to take on the Mountain Of Hell.

You need to be confident riding;
• Snow and mixed alpine terrain
• Steep off piste freeride sections
Black graded trails in Les Deux Alpes Bike Park

Expect
• A fast mass start with other riders around you
• Jumps, obstacles, and unpredictable lines
• A long physical run that rewards fitness, control, and decision making

If black trails, speed, or riding close to others feels uncomfortable, this race will be a serious challenge.

With all that being said, It IS possible to enjoy the race at your own pace and navigate the descent slowly whilst taking in the trail. Not everyone in this race is a pro rider.

The Mountain of hell is located in Les Deux Alpes in France. A large ski area in the winter situated next door to Alpe d’ Huez where the Megavalanche is raced.

The race starts on snow at the glacier and drops around 2,400 metres of vertical descent over roughly 25 km.

It’s a long, fast freeride enduro race across mixed terrain, including snow, rock, and single track and bike park trails! ,

What separates Mountain of Hell from other MTB races is the single mass start. Approximately 1,100 riders start at the same time from the glacier.

The Megavalanche is a very similar event, but riders start in blocks of around 350. Mountain of Hell is possibly regarded as the largest mass start MTB race in the world.
