    Our chalet is based in La Plagne 1800 with incredible mountain views across the Tarentaise valley. chalet Plume comes with everything you’ll need to have an epic week of riding in the Alps.

  • No Lifts Queues

    Every Bike Park we visit boasts a roll on, roll off scenario, with very little to NO QUEUES! These are very quiet but incredible trails which you can have all to yourself!

  • Breakfast + Evening Meals

    Tuck into delicious 2 course evening meals 5 out of 7 nights. Breakfasts served every morning as well as afternoon tea and cakes for local La Plagne based days.

  • Trail Shuttles

    We include shuttles for you & your bike on the 3 bike park away days during the week.

    The closest airport to us is Geneva which is located approximately 2.5 – 3 hrs away. You can easily add airport transfers for you and your bike for ease of travel. For more information about this please see further information here.

French Alps Tour FAQ

A non refundable £250 deposit will confirm your space on the trip, with final payments due 6 weeks before arrival.

Tourist Tax is not included, this is a mandatory holiday tax in France in which guests are charged per night.

This will be charged between 1.5-3.5 euros per night depending on your accommodation and added to your final invoice.

The price of your holiday is based upon 2 riders sharing per room.

We also offer single room supplements at an additional cost of £275 per person. You can add this to your booking here.

Self drives are welcomed. If you decide to drive to resort there is ample parking for your veichle. The drive will take roughly 9 hours from Calais and will cost an estimated 100 euros in tolls.

Lift passes will be an additional cost which you can purchase each day at the lift pass office.

You will need to budget approximately 150 euros for a week of lift passes.

Guiding is not included in the price of this holiday. Feel free to enjoy the trails at your own pace/ join with other riders in the chalet if you wish.

If you’d like bike hire, this is something that needs to be pre booked before your arrival.

Here are a few options;

Labo sport  – Bourg St Mourice

Gravity Lab – Bourg St Maurice

Please not that Bourg St Maurice is located around 30 minutes away at the foot of La Plagne.

Always make sure you confirm with the shop that you want your brake set up UK style!

If you would like airport transfers you can add them directly to your booking here. 

Transfers are not included in the cost of the holiday and are an additional £75 each way, per person.

We will only be running one transfer per trip.

This service is scheduled to pick you up and drop off from Geneva at 12pm noon. Please book your flights accordingly


To use this Transfer Service, your flight must meet the following conditions:

Pick up and drop off location: Geneva Airport (GVA)

Arrival: Your flight must arrive before 11:00 AM on the trip’s start date.

Departure: Your flight must depart after 3:00 PM on the trip’s departure date.

Approximate transfer duration: 3hrs.

Arrival Day:

  • Book flights to arrive before 11:00 AM on the start date of your trip.
  • The transfer will aim to leave Geneva Airport around 12:00 PM (noon).
  • You’re welcome to book an earlier flight, but you may need to wait at the airport for the transfer.

Departure Day:

  • Book flights departing after 3:00 PM from Geneva on the final day of your trip.
  • The transfer will aim to leave your chalet at approximately 9:30 AM. Departure times may vary between 8:00–9:30 AM depending on traffic and other conditions.
  • Deposit: Non-refundable.

  • Balance Payments: Due 60 days before arrival. Payments made more than 60 days before arrival (excluding deposit) are refundable if you cancel, minus 2.5% card processing fees. Once the balance is paid within the 60 day period, it is non-refundable.

  • Cancellations: If within 60 days before your arrival, must be claimed through your travel insurance. A letter confirming no-show can be provided.

  • No-shows or changes after arrival: Full booking cost applies. “Changes” includes reductions in group size or booked services.

  • Company Cancellation: If MTB Trail Hub cancels a trip for reasons within our control, full refunds will be issued. For cancellations outside our control (e.g., event cancellations, natural disasters, pandemics), claims must be made through your insurance.

It is mandatory for all Trail Hub guests to obtain health and travel insurance incase of an emergency.

During evening meals you can enjoy free flowing beers and wine.

You can also pick up supplies from the local supermarket which is a few minutes walk from your chalet.

If you have any dietary requests, please make it clear when booking your space. We can cater for your dietary needs and supply you with different foods throughout the trip, however in extreme cases there may be a small surcharge to cover the extra food options.

The Trails

  • Terrain explained

    The venues we visit have DH & Enduro routes marked on the trail maps.

    DH trails ; All downhill, no pedalling

    Enduro trails ; Longer, predominantly single track descents with some sections of incline.

    Each enduro route specifies the amount of incline on each route. You may only climb 50-100 Mts across 1000’s of metres of descent.

    Adventure is waiting at every crest.

  • La Plagne

    La Plagne has 12 flowing Bike Park trails varying in difficulty, as well as huge enduro descents dropping into surrounding valleys.

  • Les Arcs

    Les Arcs has been a favourite amongst previous guests. It’s got a great mix of tech and flow lines with long descents all the way to the valley floor.

  • Tignes/ Val d’Isere

    Tignes & Val d’Isere has some ginormous descents. Everything from long flowing berm trails, big senders and prime singletrack descents…..the decision is yours!

  • Meribel/Courchevel /Les Menuires

    You can ride hard here all day and only just scratch the surface of what’s on offer. The 3 valleys has over 160 kms of trail with everything from DH, Enduro and XC.

The Chalet

Bright, rider-friendly chalet in situated in La Plagne 1800, with secure bike storage and basic tools station.

Situated a short climb to the nearest lift or riders can descend to the valley floor after a short ride from the door.

Easy access across La Plagne Bike Park via the free bus at the end of our road.

French Alps Tour - Trail Hub

Example Itinerary

Day 1 – Saturday

Arrive in resort and settle into the chalet.  Build up bikes and get accustomed to surroundings.

Day 2 – Sunday

La Plagne Bike Park; shake the bike down and go exploring the local bike park. for the adventurous folk, you may even head down one of the valley enduro trails.

Day 3 – Monday

Les Arcs Bike Park; ride out from the chalet and descend all the way to the valley floor! Jump on our transfer at the bottom and head over to Les Arcs. Explore incredible trails all day which include everything from a 6km flow trail to a huge technical descent to the valley floor!

Day 4- Tuesday

Tignes and Val d’Isere Bike Parks; Home to some of the longest trails you will find. Trails for everyone including technical single track to flowing blues which drop all the way into Val d’Isere.

Day 5 – Wednesday

La Plagne Bike Park; take this time to have a lazy morning and regroup for the rest of the week. Alternatively you could venture into the more unknown areas of La Plagne and find some single track gold outside of the Bike Park!

Day 6 – Thursday

Meribel – The 3 Valleys; home to so much trail you won’t get close to covering it in one day. A great network of trails covering Courchevel, Meribel, Les Menuires and Val Thorens.

Day 7 – Friday

La Plagne Bike Park; take the final day as fast or as slow as you like. Ride local until you can’t physically hold on anymore or even get a local guide to give you a tour!

Day 8 – All great things must come to an end! Time to head home after and unforgettable week of riding!
